You know, winter has a funny was of cocooning people. And if you are going to be all nestled up inside your home why not spend some of that time each day assembling a jigsaw puzzle. It's good for your mind, it's good for your soul and that = good for your body! There are so many to choose from, where do you begin? How about one that feels comfortable, has few colour variations and when assembled would bring you a special sense of accomplishemnt? Many choose puzzles piece counts from 500-1,500 (Autumn Ride 1,500 pieces).
Some of these - I do admit - are very challenging, while others are extremely colourful. Then there are the next group of puzzles, which I have always termed premium (many call them intermediate challenge) and those would be the puzzles from 2,000 pieces right on up to 4,000. There are many on the market, not necessarily found in stores although some games specialty stores do carry these. Many are availavble from puzzle distributors (found world wide and here locally in Canada).
The of course, there are the challengers and oversized jigsaw puzzles: 6,000 pieces to and icluding 40,320!!! Yes, you read that right. See the picture below of an 18,000 piece puzzle (Tropical Impressions).
So no matter what you feel like, somethign easy or a puzzle that will put your patience and mettle to the test, you can always find something to suite your taste and your mood. As well, since Valentine's Day is coming up, why not give a puzzle of hearts?
We are having a massive clearance sale on all jigsaw puzzles. All stock must go. Every puzzle is 60% OFF!!! Contact us to make your appointment and to browse our available selection. First come, first serve. Retailers welcome

Hello and welcome to February!!!
February is month of some major celebrations and awarenesses: Black History month, Pink Shirt Day, Turner Syndrome Awareness Month, Oral Hygiene Awareness Month, Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month. There are definitely more. But February is also the month of family (Family Day - Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba) and yes --- Valentine's Day. And what better way than to spend those two particular days than assembling a jigsaw puzzle with your family!
At Puzzle Assembly, the fun never stops. And this fun is always family related: whether you are assembling a 300 XL size puzzle or even 1,500 pieces, working on a puzzle is fun and always a learning experience. Take a look at the variety of smaller piece count puzzles and see what you like. My recommendations for "first timers" is always to choose a puzzle from bwteen 300 and 750 pieces. Not very large dimensions wise, these puzzle will always find room on a dining room table or even a nice sized coffee table.
Time always goes by quickly. Don't let opportunities to spend time with family go by. Once they're gone, they are gone. And remember, family night can be ANY night. Happy puzzling and don't forget to sort your pieces first!

Well, only a week later and a portion of the corner has been completed. It was slow going but eventually and after a littl bit of patience, it was done.
I will be working on a 3,000 piece puzzle as well. This I hope to complete by mid to end of May. This is the cover picture of the puzzle once it's complete. This is Malbork Castle and it is located in central Poland. This particular puzzle is manufactured by Castorland (of Poland).
Stay tuned for more updates.

I just couldn't help myself. But this is the latest puzzle I am assembling. Ramsau, Germany has been beautifully captured in this puzzle manufactured by Clementoni. It is 6,000 pieces, and measures 45" X 65" fully assembled. Here is a picture:
The most famous landmark - besides the Bavarian Alps of southeastern Germany, is the local church: Pfarrkirche St. Sebastian. In my next posting you will be able to see my progress to date and get more of a description of Ramsau itself.
